With an HD Ceramic Guard and Triple Nano Compound it offers the same, outstanding qualities in puncture protection and wet grip, but with its fine LiteSkin sidewall it is easily the lightest and sportiest tyre in the Marathon Evo Line.

HD Ceramic Guard
High Density. High Density Guard is a unique puncture protection technology only available from Schwalbe. It has been jointly developed in cooperation with American firm Warwick Mills. Warwick is a specialist maker of high density fabrics and holds 14 international patents for its weaving technology. No other bicycle tyre protection belt is as densely woven and this technology makes it possible to make a tyre that is both light in weight and with an extraordinary high level of puncture resistance. Ceramic. The addition of a ceramic coating is entirely new. Small pieces of glass that remain embedded in the tyre and slowly cut their way through a protection belt are now stopped by the tough, ceramic particles that blunt the edges of the glass preventing its destructive migration.
